Dr. Dougal Currie
Dr. Dougal Currie is an environmental scientist with over twelve years’ experience in the natural resource management sector - within
government, academic research and in consulting. He has a PhD in soil science
and extensive consulting experience in soil and groundwater management. He has
a broad range of skills in hydrogeology and soil science. His project
experience extends from groundwater resource and impact assessments across
several different scales (local, regional, national), to GDE studies, soil
cover design, soil surveys and salinity impact assessments, working with a
variety of clients in industry, agriculture and government. He has demonstrated
experience in synthesising technical research findings across a number of
scientific fields to inform the management of natural resources.
Soil and water are amongst our most precious resources and I strive to work with clients to develop practical solutions that maintain these assets for future generations.
