Ravinder Singh Sason
A resident engineer with 30 years of experience, Ravinder Sason has been involved in major projects that include metro tunnels, hydropower tunnels, stormwater tunnels, shafts, barrages, pump stations, filtration plants dams, large underground caverns, marine jetty, break water, high rise buildings and roads. Mr. Sason has extensive experience in tunnels and tunnel boring machines and has worked with double shield, earth pressure balance and micro tunneling boring machines. His experience also includes different types of ground supporting systems such as soil/rock anchoring, steel arches, soldier piling, and sheet piling, among others.
One of his proudest professional moments was helping with the Abu Hamour Drainage Tunnel project in Doha, Qatar. The project was the first tunnel project completed in Doha with Tunnel Boring Machine. Sason was recognized by the client for his significant contribution to the project.
