Insights on Site: Visit to the Regional Tangent West (RTW) Construction Site

The RTW is a large-scale transport project in the Rhine-Main region designed to alleviate the pressure on local public transport and create new, direct connections in the area surrounding Frankfurt through a ring-shaped railway network. The project encompasses approximately 52 kilometres of track for two new railway lines, 28 planned stops, numerous bridges and underpasses, as well as five independent planning approval sections.
A project of this scale involves not only complex technical demands but also requires close coordination with numerous stakeholders. The client consortium comprises 12 shareholders, alongside over 100 contracting units as well as separate project teams and contact persons for each of the five planning approval sections.
