Julia Curran
Julia is a Senior Environmental Scientist with CDM Smith and is a highly resourceful, competent environmental advisor and a qualified environmental scientist with exceptional skills developed through upwards of 10 years environmental field service.
Julia has a broad combination of technical and analytical skills whilst demonstrating the strategic capabilities needed to develop and enhance Environmental Management Systems (EMS). She has carried out work across the state with a focus on mine site compliance in the Goldfields and iron ore operations in the Pilbara. Her experience across greenfields, brownfields and site rehabilitation provide a solid foundation for tailored environmental solutions.
Julia has managed projects for mining and quarrying activities requiring approvals and assessments from regulating authorities, completed compliance audits and due diligence for internal business approvals; and provided strategic advice for government agencies for implementing legislative requirements regarding health and safety of employees.
Julia is able to provide quantified policy advice, as well as supporting the development of projects. In addition to this, she is an effective communicator who can build relationships with clients and successfully deliver projects to client satisfaction.
