Julia Curran

Julia is a Senior Envi­ron­men­tal Scientist with CDM Smith and is a highly resourceful, competent envi­ron­men­tal advisor and a qualified envi­ron­men­tal scientist with exceptional skills developed through upwards of 10 years envi­ron­men­tal field service.

Julia has a broad combination of technical and analytical skills whilst demon­strat­ing the strategic capa­bil­i­ties needed to develop and enhance Envi­ron­men­tal Management Systems (EMS).  She has carried out work across the state with a focus on mine site compliance in the Goldfields and iron ore operations in the Pilbara.  Her experience across greenfields, brownfields and site reha­bil­i­ta­tion provide a solid foundation for tailored envi­ron­men­tal solutions.

Julia has managed projects for mining and quarrying activities requiring approvals and assessments from regulating authorities, completed compliance audits and due diligence for internal business approvals; and provided strategic advice for government agencies for imple­ment­ing legislative require­ments regarding health and safety of employees.

Julia is able to provide quantified policy advice, as well as supporting the development of projects.  In addition to this, she is an effective commu­ni­ca­tor who can build rela­tion­ships with clients and success­fully deliver projects to client satis­fac­tion.
