Silvio Engelmann

Silvio Engelmann has 17 years of professional experience as an engineering geologist and has been with CDM Smith since 2014. As a project manager in the field of infrastructure and geotechnics, he has successfully worked on and managed 60 projects, the most important of which include the redevelopment planning for the Duhamel spoil tip and the B 97 complex project.

Silvio Engelmann decided to become an engineer because of his great interest in nature and technology. For him, engineering geology offers the perfect link between the technical aspects of engineering and the scientific understanding of natural geological processes. He sees new challenges, personal development and continuous learning as an enrichment of his life.
