The traditional subway line U5 runs from Hönow to Alexanderplatz, the new U55 stretch extends this line with a connection from Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate. The geotechnical experts from CDM Smith been part of the construction of this 2.2 km tunnel from the very beginning.
CDM Smith is assessing the construction area and providing geotechnical consultancy, design review and supervision for one of Europe's landmark railway projects.
