Infrastructure Works at Jumeirah Golf Estates Phase A
The scope of JGE Phase A included the design of infrastructure connections to serve a number of additional plots within the constructed JGE Phase A. The plot connections were out from the primary utilities network. The scope of works also included risk assessment for the DUSUP corridor crossing, electricity power master plan, LV network design for villas and street lighting, JGE urban master plan submission to Trakhees, sewerage network strategy and water master plan for new development within Phase A, high pressure mitigation in the irrigation main transmission and distribution network, fire fighting network, flooding mitigation analysis, emergency parking along ring road, design of infrastructure services for all utilities within various phases of Al Andalus within JGE Phase A, relocation of existing utilities in management office plot, design of signage strategy for JGE, and traffic impact study for new developments within Phase A, which included Al Andalus, JGE office, and redwood park.
CDM Smith was responsible for evaluating and updating the master plan of existing services, and addressing necessary upgrade to meet the demands of the new development coming up in Phase A area including Al Andalus, JGE office, Redwood town houses, Al Zafran, and Casitas. The existing services include water network, sewage vacuum system, design of signage strategies, irrigation distribution system of communities area, MV network and 11kV substations, LV network for plots and street lighting within the right of way, telecommunication network including LAN, firefighting system, roads network, lakes MEP system and water quality review, analysis and recommendation, design no objection certificates, and value engineering and sustainability solutions for infrastructure.
