Innovation through desalination

Today’s membrane tech­nolo­gies turn seawater, brackish groundwater and other marginal water supplies into safe drinking water—allowing water utilities to develop new supplies from sources once thought to be of little value. Since the early 1990s, CDM Smith has been involved in the study, design and imple­men­ta­tion of 50+ desali­na­tion and membrane filtration facilities in the U.S. and several more globally.
