Brandie is a transportation engineer with over two decades of transportation and environmental engineering experience. “I find inspiration in tackling large, complex projects, navigating intricate challenges, and creating innovative solutions that shape the way people move and connect,” she says. “It’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in transportation engineering.
As CDM Smith’s transportation design practice leader, Brandie brings expertise in environmental planning and compliance, construction feasibility, client support, and project management. She has an impressive track record when it comes to professional recognition, receiving accolades since the early stages of her career journey. She was honored as Chattanooga’s Young Engineer of the Year 2007, ASCE’s Young Engineer of the year in 2017 and Chattanooga Engineers Club’s Outstanding Engineer of the Year for 2020.
