Dan Cooke

Envi­ron­men­tal scientist Dan Cooke is inspired by the care and dedication of individuals collab­o­rat­ing as a team. “The way our project teams address our client’s needs from every angle, using decades of experience gives me a great sense of satis­fac­tion. Working with our clients toward protection of human health and the environment inspires me to look to a cleaner, more sustainable future,” he says.

Dan has over three decades of project management experience in the design, direction, and performance of ecological risk assessments, sediment evaluations, envi­ron­men­tal toxicology studies, coastal marine habitat assessments, natural resource evaluations, and more.  
He has extensive experience as lead technical reviewer for dozens of ecological risk assessments and envi­ron­men­tal site assessments for the USEPA, and has performed substantial sediment, soil, groundwater, and surface water inves­ti­ga­tions. “I've worked on some of the largest cont­a­m­i­nated sediment sites in the country, and I've had a hand in reversing a century's worth of pollution in some of them. Being able to say that I helped reopen a waterway for boating, swimming, and fishing-and being able to eat the fish-is a great feeling,” says Dan.
