Naveed Tariq, PE, PMP

“I am passionate about development sector projects because I've seen how our work impacts people's lives,” says Naveed Tariq, certified senior project manager working in the firm’s Egypt office. Naveed’s expertise lies in projects regarding healthcare, education, water and sanitation.

Naveed has experience in civil engineering and program management of geographically spread projects, including assessment, planning, design, tendering, contract admin­is­tra­tion, construc­tion supervision and management of infra­struc­ture imple­men­ta­tion.

He has supervised and managed infra­struc­ture in Pakistan, Nepal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and is an emerging leader out of our Southern Asia offices. Aside from designing and building hospital facilities, education centers, or water/sanitation projects, Naveed also has nearly two decades of experience in design-build and construc­tion within a developing country context.

“Working on healthcare and education-focused projects has always inspired me,” he says. “All four of my children are enrolled in school and building sustainable and resilient schools and university buildings for mostly disad­van­taged students is a way I can give back. These facilities change students’ lives and enable them to become future doctors and engineers.”
