G. Steve Lowry, PE

“My favorite part of my job is working with different cultures and people who are dedicated to improving the local community,” says water resources engineer Steve Lowry. Steve has four decades of progressive civil engineering and water resources experience. He joined the firm in 2008 on a project opportunity in South Africa to provide better water supply to those without.

Steve’s project experience includes design, construction, design-build, QA/QC, and oversight of dams, canals, tunnels, water treatment plants, water transmission lines, water distribution systems, and hydraulic structures. His career spans the full range of services in his industry, from procurement to negotiation to design to construction to startup to claims resolution and project close-out.

Steve has the expertise to deliver great projects for clients of any size- he has worked with local, state, federal, and international agencies and is knowledgeable about both FIDIC and EJCDC contracting.

Steve also has many years of experience working in low and middle income countries, with strong project management skills and the capacity to manage technically and culturally diverse professional workforces of up to 60 people. He has been responsible for design contracts of up to $65 million.
