Tim Ashmore

Tim Ashmore is a seasoned leader with nearly 15 years of experience in civil and envi­ron­men­tal projects, and is a client service leader at CDM Smith. “My favorite part of the job is being part of a company of incredible problem solvers where I get to help guide the process by listening to our clients.”

Tim is inspired by the commitment to improve our natural and built envi­ron­ments, which has been a driving force in his career. He is partic­u­larly focused on supporting the clean energy transition and the opportunity to help clients navigate the impli­ca­tions on their businesses and society. He sees this as an exciting time to be working on infra­struc­ture projects, as he realizes the signif­i­cance of navigating transition activities at scale.

One of his proudest projects has been the work CDM Smith has undertaken with investor-owned utilities in the areas of thermal energy networks, RNG (Renewable Natural Gas), and hydrogen technology evaluations. He recognizes the challenges and oppor­tu­ni­ties faced by gas utilities in today's changing landscape, and he is proud of CDM Smith's leadership role in taking on high-profile and complex projects in these areas.
