Gwen Pelletier, ENV SP

Senior air quality scientist Gwen Pelletier brings nearly 30 years of expertise to her role at CDM Smith. She specializes in air dispersion modeling, emissions inventories for criteria air pollutants and greenhouse gases and more. From airports to light rail systems to wastewater treatment plants, Gwen has contributed to a wide range of public and private sector projects. She's also skilled in preparing general conformity and trans­porta­tion conformity evaluations, as well as envi­ron­men­tal docu­men­ta­tion under California Envi­ron­men­tal Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Envi­ron­men­tal Policy Act (NEPA).

"I'm inspired by building relationships with my colleagues and transferring my knowledge to the next generation of air quality professionals,” Gwen says. This passion is reflected not only in her technical expertise but also in her approach to teamwork.

Gwen’s favorite part of her job? The people. “I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with some amazing individuals throughout my time at CDM Smith. Many of those connections have grown into lasting friendships, even after careers at the company have ended,” she says.

Collab­o­ra­tion is a cornerstone of Gwen’s work, and she believes in open commu­ni­ca­tion and supporting her team. “My door is always open, and I encourage everyone to stop by with questions or concerns. Talking through challenges together is key to finding the best solutions,” she says.
