Why CDM Smith? Because I love working on the engineering challenges associated with our projects and working with a highly motivated team. Finding the best possible solutions for customers and staying a step ahead of their expectations with our own creative ideas is something I find especially rewarding.
Which one of CDM Smith’s core values do you identify with most and why? Selecting one particular value always means putting it ahead of other values. I think all of us defining our own daily activities is what we really need to achieve our goals.
In your view, what is the added value of CDM Smith for our clients? The multidisciplinary expertise amongst our staff. Our interdisciplinary competence allows us to work on complex tasks with synergy effects for the customer, because numerous interfaces remain with CDM Smith.
What are your non-work passions? Unfortunately, geology often gets sidelined in my job responsibilities, and it’s reverting into a hobby. Cross-country skiing is one of my favourite winter activities.
You can have good ideas, but you always need a team to implement them.
