“Engineering and architectural teamwork serve as a tremendous source of inspiration for me,” says Charlotte, an architect and interior designer with over three decades of experience. “The collaborative process of bringing together diverse perspectives, skills and expertise to tackle complex design challenges is both exhilarating and rewarding.”
As CDM Smith’s federal facilities discipline leader, Charlotte has provided a comprehensive array of design services, including budget management, staff oversight, and leadership in design concept development, programming, document production, and specification for federal projects. She is proudest of her contribution to the Design-Build RFP Development for the Tyndall Air force base. In this collaborative effort, the Air Force, USACE, and CDM Smith successfully initiated a design build project aimed at replacing a major lodging facility damaged in a natural disaster.
“One of my favorite aspects of my job is working closely with clients to identify and understand their architectural needs and desires,” Charlotte says. “This close collaboration not only ensures the success of the project but also cultivates strong, enduring relationships built on trust and mutual respect.”
Charlotte has been a part of CDM Smith for over 15 years. “When it comes to federal projects that demand precision, reliability, and innovation, CDM Smith stands ready to deliver unparalleled results,” she says.
