Subcontracting
PROCUREMENT POLICY
CDM Smith Inc.’s policy is to conduct its procurements for goods and services in an ethical, fair and reasonable manner and to comply with applicable contractual and federal, municipal, and industrial requirements, as well as corporate guidelines established by its Board of Directors.
DIVERSITY
It is, and will continue to be, the policy of CDM Smith to seek diversity in its teaming and subcontracting opportunities and afford all interested parties with the opportunity to compete. This includes making good faith efforts to provide maximum opportunities, to the greatest extent possible, for small business concerns of all types to participate in the firm’s procurement of goods and services. CDM Smith believes it has an affirmative duty and commitment to seek out and identify qualified small businesses to include on source lists for procurement opportunities, in particular those companies that are either disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or located in HUBZones. CDM Smith reviews each procurement opportunity and seeks subcontractors and vendors that can meet client project needs and diversity goals while providing value for the opportunities being pursued.
ETHICS POLICY
CDM Smith is committed to ethical conduct in its business practices and strives to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with subcontractors and vendors based on their capability to provide quality products and dependable service at prices that contribute to the firm’s competitiveness within the marketplace. CDM Smith expects its subcontractors and vendors to deliver quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices, work together with CDM Smith in delivering excellent work for client projects, work safely and protect the environment, and be ethical and fair. The Code of Ethics and the Anti-Corruption Compliance Program apply globally to all CDM Smith employees as well as to agents, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
