Susan L. Crawford, PE, BCEE

“Our projects take time to plan and build, but they support generations. These projects will outlive us, which makes our efforts even more rewarding,” says Susan Crawford, Water Services Group Director at CDM Smith.

Susan is responsible for the development of over 2,000 technical profes­sion­als at the firm. She currently leads the exceptional 2-year technical mentoring program for water, environment, trans­porta­tion, infra­struc­ture, and program services profes­sion­als. She also serves as the business unit leader for the training and development of CDM Smith’s project managers, technical leaders, and project managers in training.

With over three decades of experience at the firm, Susan has extensive knowledge in all facets of drinking water and reuse treatment, and formerly served as the firm’s drinking water technical strategy leader, responsible for sales positioning and delivery of the firm’s drinking water portfolio.
