Speakers:
Jill Greene is a highly experienced geologist and project manager in the environment and technology group. She specializes in hydrogeologic, stormwater and hazardous waste investigations, and she manages all aspects of projects, from inception to closure. Her environmental projects include water quality assessments, implementation of monitoring plans and investigations, remedial action, and feasibility study designs and more.
Dr. Ian Ross has over 30 years’ experience in the environmental impact of xenobiotics. He first evaluated solutions to manage PFOS in 2005 after the Buncefield fire near London, then started developing PFOS destruction technologies whilst working on a PFAS project for Guernsey airport. He has written over 100 articles, academic publications, and book chapters on PFAS and won the 2016 Brownfield Briefing award for the world first commercial use of the TOP assay. He is a senior technical adviser to the United Nations Environment Program on foam transition.
Jarron Gass is a fire and life safety expert with more than two decades of experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting fire protection systems. He evaluates fire and life safety code requirements to promote compliance and improved safety. He is a licensed fire protection engineer in 12 states, and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist through NFPA with over 100 completed projects to date.
Niall Ramsden is coordinator for LASTFire, the leading international forum related to developing best practice guidance on all aspects of storage tank fire hazard management. He has been a Member of the NFPA 11 Foams Systems Committee for more than 25 years and the EN 13565 Part 2 committee for more than 15 years. He is a member of The Energy Institute Process Safety Committee.
Micah Dickinson of Siron Fire Protection has 25 years of design, management, and consultation experience in the fire protection industry. His expertise in foam and water fire systems is a direct result of spending the last 16 years dedicated to the protection of flammable liquid hazards. Micah is National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certified in special hazard fire protection systems and is a founding member of the State of Michigan PFAS/AFFF Task Force.
