Speaker Qualifications:
Mark Metzner is a senior client service leader in CDM Smith's Industrial Unit. Throughout his career, Mark has worked on major geothermal utility programs across the United States and Canada, focusing on successful commercial project delivery, including district energy systems. He is highly skilled in all ground installation elements for major commercial geothermal systems and has extensive experience in structuring geo exchange utility rates.
Greg Koumoullos is a Clean Energy Project Manager at Con Edison, on the Utility Thermal Energy Networks Team. He has been with Con Edison for 17 years holding various positions in electric, gas, engineering, construction and smart meters. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician (FAA A&P).
Bob Button has 30 years of experience in master planning, geoenvironmental site assessment, permitting, regulatory compliance, construction management, public participation and project financing. He has been involved in a diverse range of projects including brownfields redevelopment, highway design, sustainable design, landfill closure, and recreation facility design. As the officer-in-charge for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), Boston Public Works Department (PWD) and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department (BPRD), among others, he has been actively involved in a variety of planning, permitting, design and construction projects throughout the region.
