Cindy Preuss, water conveyance discipline leader, is profes­sion­ally inspired by “being able to find solutions to complex project challenges for my clients, as well as mentoring staff on all things trenchless,” she says.

She brings over two decades of consulting experience in planning, designing, and managing large-scale public water and wastewater projects throughout the west. Cindy also has special expertise in pressure and gravity pipeline alignment analysis and system design, trenchless technology, and stormwater permitting.

Cindy is nationally recognized through her active partic­i­pa­tion and leadership roles on various industry boards and committees, including the North American Society for Trenchless Technology, the Western Regional Society for Trenchless Technology, and, more locally, the Northern California Pipe Users Group.

Cindy’s favorite part of her job is “the ability to review oppor­tu­ni­ties for pipeline reha­bil­i­ta­tion where replacement would be costly and have a detrimental overall impact on traffic, the environment, or the community,” she says.
