Jeff Doyle, JD
Jeff Doyle, project technical leader, has spent the past 25 years advising legislators and policymakers on how to adapt to innovation in the transportation sector while understanding the opportunities and challenges to achieving electrification of transportation infrastructure.
He has specific expertise in taxation, innovative finance, road usage charges (widely known as RUC), and sustainable transportation programs. Jeff has also provided key support to initiatives at the state, multi-state and federal level, with his work ranging from guiding transportation funding task forces and policy committees, to developing, managing and supporting large, statewide pilot tests of RUC systems.
Jeff’s transportation innovation expertise is especially crucial as industries are taking essential action to pivot to sustainable, green practices. “Policymakers, not just in the United States but around the world, are now looking at transportation electrification as one way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It’s the climate imperative,” Jeff says.
Jeff also has experience working as the director of public and private partnerships for the Washington State Department of Transportation and co-founded RUC West, a consortium of 16 state departments of transportation that conduct research relating to RUC policy and implementation.“Policymakers, not just in the United States but around the world, are now looking at transportation electrification as one way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
