Jeff Donaldson, PE, PMP

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Jeff Donaldson is a highly accom­plished electrical engineer and project manager at CDM Smith. He has been recognized for his outstanding contri­bu­tions to the field, receiving notable awards such as the 2022 CSE Magazine 40 Under 40 Engineers and the 2019 AEE Young Energy Profes­sional of the Year.

With a passion for working with the best mentors and engineers, Jeff chose CDM Smith for its exceptional people and oppor­tu­ni­ties. “I find inspiration in building strong teams and collab­o­ra­tively solving complex problems,” he says. For Jeff, learning every day is the favorite part of his job, as he continually seeks to expand his knowledge and expertise.

One of his proudest projects is the MWCo RWPS project, where he success­fully utilized newer medium voltage distri­b­u­tion equipment to address space constraints for a client. This project required meticulous coor­di­na­tion with vendors and extensive education to effectively implement the innovative solution.
