With three decades of experience delivering large wastewater infra­struc­ture programs, CDM Smith’s Northeast Area Manager Tim Dupuis says he is most inspired by “being able to see the positive change for the public from the projects we do. It’s very rewarding to see a project completed, a problem solved, the environment improved and the public benefiting from the projects we’re involved in.”

He also has additional extensive experience in diverse areas of municipal engineering, including treatment plant design, site design, design-build delivery of systems, hydraulic modeling, sewer design, pump station design, stormwater reviews, subdivision reviews, compre­hen­sive permitting, construc­tion management, value engineering, and dispute resolution.

Tim’s experience in regulatory consent order driven programs for wastewater treatment facilities, sanitary sewer overflow compliance, combined sewer overflow compliance and infra­struc­ture reha­bil­i­ta­tion has helped him develop and implement plans for both long- and short-term projects, each with outstanding results. “Many municipal projects take years to implement but that process makes the projects better through collab­o­ra­tion and public involvement,” he says.
