Whether it is witnessing the impact at the smallest, individual level or measuring the effect at the larger population or ecosystem scales, it’s very rewarding to know that the work is making a difference," says Trevor McProud, envi­ron­men­tal scientist and drinking water expert at CDM Smith.

 

He has 13 years of technical and regulatory experience, special­iz­ing in drinking water supply compliance issues, including monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions require­ments. Prior to his position at the firm, he spent over a decade leading the Office of Public Health Engineering at the New York City Department of Health.

 

Trevor is currently focusing his efforts on Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) compliance, with an emphasis on school and childcare sampling plans in New Jersey. He is also teaming up with Trinnex to advance the leadCAST platform to scale for future LCR updates. "I am proud to be a part of multiple CDM Smith projects that are directly addressing lead in drinking water, now combined with the strategic planning process to continue to address these challenges in coming years," Trevor says.
